The government now spends billions to support research into particles from outer space, black holes, cosmology, the age of rock formations; information which cannot be proven, only mathematically simulated and imagined. We ask that you take immediate steps to largely halt such research funding.
Use the same dollars for the next 25 years to make grants to these same theoretical scientists to seek “down to earth” solutions to climate change. They are our best scientific minds.
Scientific research and development are keys to a culture's vision. Right now our “vision” is being directed to the stars. Support a new vision: that scientists stand at the ready to remedy the wide range of earthly challenges spurred by climate change.
