redirect resources away from the excessive and repressive securitized state apparatus and warfare state.

Policing has never been a politically neutral practice. It has always been used to protect certain interests and repress others. Historically, policing began in the United States as slave patrols and carries with it today the dual purpose of maintaining social order and hierarchically partitioning the social body.

It has come to the attention that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security treated Occupy Wall Street participants has domestic terrorist threats. This excessive use of policing is a threat to democracy and to the principles that hold the nation together. By treating those who speak out against the corruption of the finance-state nexus as domestic terrorist only protects the interests of those who do not have the peoples interest at heart.
