Redirect a sizable portion of the military budget to genetically engineering the Inari Fox, a meme that could end war

The Inari Fox sadly does not exist outside of the internet. And yet it is so cute and fluffy that if it did exist, its mere existence - and a targeted program to provide these adorable creatures as mandatory pets for everyone on earth - would end anger, violence and war. The federal government should direct special funding, preferably from the military budget, toward genetically engineering this animal. This should be made a national security priority.
