The United States government must review the current policy on providing goverment aid to foreign countries. The term aid should include funds as well as any material, service or troops, etc. being finacially supported by the United States government.
Invest in the United States. Invest in America!
U.S. foreign aid has a variety of goals. Among them, lifting people out of poverty, promoting democracy and economic stability worldwide but shouldn't we have these same goals for all US citizens. Instead we are in an era of cities and schools going bankrupt, continued layoffs and closures. The US doles out more than $58 billion a year in foreign assistance through more than 20 agencies, yet we have wars going on right here on our own borders and a growing number of homeless.
