redirect U.S. spending into the NASA program to nurture and grow a future filled with dreamers and thinkers.

I propose that we, citizens of The United States of America, should push our representatives and leaders to redirect money from our military (whose air conditioning costs more in a year than the entirety of NASA does. ref: http://goo.gl/2MLXW ). I am personally arguing for this petition because I love space, but for specific reasons. Space is something that excites many because it is contains so much for us to learn, imagine, and innovate. For those of you reading this who don't care about space let me explain to you the benefits. NASA generates nearly 3.7 dollars for every dollar spent on it (money spent: ~19billion, money generated: ~70billion ref:http://goo.gl/yBJcJM). We need to prioritize NASA to help forward technology, education, and strengthen our economy.
