The biggest problem facing the economy and our sustainable future comes from special interest lobbyists who have the ability to bribe politicians.
If we do nothing to prevent this, the only legislation that will become law will protect these special interests. Banks and investment firms will continue to gamble with our money, pharmaceutical and insurance companies will continue to charge excessive amounts for their services and oil companies will continue to gouge the American public.
Congress cannot function in a broken system. If we remove the bribes and influence of lobbies and PACs, we can provide a system which will allow legislators to make decisions on what's best for the country, not the richest corporations.
