Reduce all congressional salaries to federal minimum wage effective immediately.

The current congress has done nothing to earn the salaries they receive, much less the raise they are now set to receive in 2013.
We the people insist that the salary of each and every congressperson be reduced to that of the federal minimum wage, effective immediately. We also insist that no measures to increase their salaries will be entertained before a balanced budget is passed.
Any congress person finding there new salary unsuitable will find their letter of resignation welcomed with open arms by we the people and their vacated seat filled by a true civil servant.
