Reduce all existing Federal Student Loans to their original principal balances, waiving all compounded interest accrued.

Created by K.L. on December 28, 2015

Federal Student Loan interest has far exceeded reasonable lending rates for decades, not unlike illegal "usary" rates, crippling the majority of borrowers, destroying credit reports (due to unbalanced "debt-to-income" ratios), preventing countless self-sustaining retirements, and rendering most loans never to be fully repaid. By returning all balances to their original principal amounts, many will finally be able to pay their loans in full, either in lump sums, or with now far more manageable payments.

Allowing these balances to also be included in all bankruptcy petitions would further resolve these unmanageable burdens for numerous struggling consumers.
