Nationalize the speed limit to 25 miles per hour on all interstates, highways, roads, & streets in all 50 states. Govern all vehicles to 30 miles per hour.
This would; reduce pollution, costs of road maintenance, tire wear, operation costs for law enforcement, maintenance costs on all vehicles, eliminate a need for widening roads, saves wildlife, reduces costs of insurance and accident claims, practically eliminates 5,000,000 crashes a year & 40,000 automobile deaths per year,reduces 2,000,000 automobile injuries, reduces the amount of fuel used to drive.
