The US gives, GIVES, our tax payer dollars to other nations, yet we have a staggeringly high unemployment rate, increasing numbers of homeless, and fewer companies hiring.
There is no reason to hand over our cash, especially to nations which don't really need it (non-emergencies) when we have such a great need for money to be put toward programs for Americans.
This petition requests that a hold be placed on all tax payer dollars sent overseas and the money to be invested in programs to help America get back on her feet.
There is no justification for trying to fix other nations' problems, when we need so desperately to fix our own.
