Reduce and keep gas rates at a more affordable level.

Created by M.B. on January 17, 2013

As it stands the average American has enough financial instability with the economy the way it has been. At a rate of $5/gal (California's highest gas price last summer) and the average vehicle taking roughly 12-20 gallons to fill, Americans are looking at $60-$100 per tank. Gas prices tend to soar during the summer and warmer months. With temperatures reaching record highs country wide, vehicle air conditioners are a necessity. Using the A/C in a vehicle drives the MPG down substantially. Meanwhile the oil companies are driving gas prices up, gouging us and digging deeper into our pockets. Please keep gas prices at a more manageable rate and keep it more consistent through out the year. Please take action now towards more affordable gas rates for Americans during this up coming summer.
