This petition demands the reduction of any salary obtained by any seat, elected or appointed, to not exceed the annual median income of those constituents who voted the official to office. Any elected persons occupying any position gained by popular ballot shall not earn more than those who granted his or her seat, nor shall their benefits exceed the benefits of his or her constituents. Any persons appointed position by one who was elected shall not ear a salary more than the citizens of his or district's median income. Each voter retains the authority to vote on a reasonable salary for the elected person in that particular district and any bonus, raise, or partial pay increase shall be determined by the voters.
