The lead time to get a Green Card for the legal immigrants from India and China is extending to more than 10 years in most of the cases (EB2 and EB3). Most of the immigrants are having a great potential in building the economy and start new businesses provided they settle down soon.
10 years of time is way too high in the span of any individual and government should consider the situation from humanitarian grounds and expedite the process of dealing with the backlog. or atleast amend the immigration system to provide a Greencard if a person works in US for specific number of years legally and is paying taxes and had no criminal activity performed.
