We should reduce the budget for congress and so they experience what we the people do by:
1. Having them pay for their own health benefits.
2. Eliminate pensions, 401K and Social Security like us.
3. Reduce time off to vacation and holidays in line with us, two weeks vacation and major holidays.
4. Pay for performance, this would be reflected by their attendance in leslative sessions and participation in voting of legislation.
5. Halving the number of senators and representatives, too many cooks are spoiling the broth.
I feel congress dictates to us without empathy with no effect to them, and it is time that we the people, who are their boss, to bring them in lin
