I feel that we need to have the right people in Congress for the right reasons and this will greatly help out our Country. The easiest way to get to that point is take away all financial benifits of being in Congress.
Below is what I am petitioning for.
1. A yearly salary equal to the current poverty level
2. Will only receive pay while working
3. No retirement benifits
4. Can't benifit financially by any means due to their position (books, invterviews, ect..)
If the current Congress is unwillingly to get these laws in place, I petition that we ONLY vote in new Congress members that will vote for this change.
