Reduce Congressional pay from 193,000 to 44,000 and make lobbying against the law.
If Congress had their pay reduced to the national average, it would make people see serving in Congress as just that, serving. Not a get rich quick scheme, It would also give them reason to raise the national average while not increasing inflation.
Outlawing lobbying would keep people passing laws that work solely for them. It would also prevent Congressmen from being bought
This country needs people who want to help fix the country, not fix the country to help their pocketbooks.
