Since Congress has gotten the U.S. into this financial debt, it is only fair that they do their part to get the U.S. out of this debt. This can be assisted by reducing Congressional pay to minimum wage and using the surplus to pay towards our national debt. This would further prove to the U.S. people that Congress is actually trying to help our nation and not just pick our pockets.
