If we the people want to balance our budget, we should start at the top with all our higher tiered elected representatives. Holding office is a public servant, you should not be able to become a millionaire because of your rank in government. That is not what our congress was appointed for.
With that being said, we the people want to see these few things be put in place to protect it's republic.
a.) United States of America Representative of the it's people including it's President, Congressman and Congresswoman, Senators, and other representatives of the people to have their salary immediately dropped to $0.00 as it is a privilege to serve in office as a public servant. Our elected should not be coming out of office millionaires.
b.) 2 maximum terms for all elected representatives.
