Reduce the Cost of Prescription Drugs by Prohibiting Pharmaceutical Companies from Advertising

Created by B.M. on January 16, 2013

The cost of purchasing prescription drugs in America are tied directly to the cost of production. A chief component, among others, in the cost of production is advertising. Fully 50% of a product’s cost in any sector is advertising related. Reinstating the abolition of Pharmaceutical Companies from advertising that was rescinded in the 1970s will reduce the cost of prescription drugs.
