To reduce the deficit, ensure that all federal employees contribute towards the cost of their healthcare coverage.

Created by H.S. on September 23, 2011

As with most of the non-union, private sector jobs, federal employees should contribute toward their health insurance. Many people have to cover as much as 75% of the cost (the employer covering 25%). And again, as in the private, real world, this coverage ends with the term of employment. This should save literally trillions of dollars over time. This must apply equally, and fairly, to every member of Congress, the judicial system, and all employees in the Executive branch of government (up to,and including, the president).
