The drinking age needs to be lowered to eighteen. whereas an eighteen year old can go out and die for his country but he is not legally allowed to sit at a bar and have a drink. Whereas is the drinking age was lowered it is believed that the underage binge drinking rate will go down. with the younger drinkers being able to buy their own alcohol they will be better monitored and in the end safer. If any younger drinkers are caught drinking and driving they will immediately changed back to the original age. If younger drinkers can prove they are mature enough to handle such a privilege they should be allowed to drink.
