Reduce the Federal Government to its Constitutionally-authorized role of handing interstate and international affairs.

Created by S.S. on November 15, 2012

Whereas, the Constitution limits the Federal Government to specific enumerated powers, generally pertaining to interstate and international affairs; and

Whereas, Amendment 10 strictly forbids the Federal Government to exceed those enumerated powers; and

Whereas, the Federal Government has greatly exceeded those enumerated powers, in violation of Amendment 10; and

Whereas, Federal spending could be greatly reduced, and the Federal deficit altogether eliminated, simply by reducing the Federal Government to its enumerated powers and duties, and eliminating unconstitutional Federal departments and agencies;

Therefore we, the undersigned, petition the Federal Government to retreat to its Constitutionally-prescribed limits, for the good of all citizens of the United States.
