Reduce the Federal required age for concealed carry to 18, and allow purchases of handguns for 18 year olds

I am seeking to get the age limit for concealed carry lowered to age 18. We can join the military and carry guns and go to war for america but when we come back home we don't have the basic right of self defense. Eighteen year olds are already allowed to own shotguns and rifles and in some states open carry handguns. I wish for it to be the case that all LAW ABIDING 18 year olds be granted the ability to concealed carry. This would still require the normal process of backround checks.
