Whereas: The U.S. is still sending billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan (PBS News) even in the light of support for terrorists and other groups, and;
Whereas: Recent history demonstrates a large amount of our foreign aid is send to governments that hold conflicting ideologies then that of the U.S., and;
Whereas: The U.S. economy is maintaining a deficit cash flow;
Therefore, be it resolved: The U.S. reevaluate Foreign Aid policies and redirect funds towards reduction of our own deficit and improving/repairing state and national infrastructure, and;
Be it further resolved: The Obama administration establish a phased plan,starting January 1st, 2013 of reducing the U.S. foreign aid liabilities by 10% each year until 50% of the 2011 foreign aid budget is eliminated.
