Reduce funds given to food stamp recipients. Provide a voucher system to supply them with seeds to grow their own food.

This petition is to request food stamp reform and encourage the citizens of the USA to take more responsibility for themselves. While many urban areas may not have the ability to do this, rural areas will. Urban areas tend to have community gardens, and a voucher for membership to one of those would be the equivalent. A voucher for seeds would cost very little. These seeds can produce enough fresh food for a family for months. Current food stamp recipients are able to buy sodas, chips, and other junk foods. Encourage healthier eating while helping to balance our budget.
