Reduce government assistance to five years or less per family. Excludes retirees and the disabled.

Created by J.S. on November 15, 2012

We the people ask to reduce any and all state and federal government assistance to a person or family to five years or less. Once any person which includes any family member receives assistance they cannot get back on government assistance in the future until they retire at the age required by the federal government or legally considered disabled.

Government assistance is to help people retrain to go into the workforce to improve their situation. Government assistance is not an entitlement for people who are unwilling to improve their situation while on assistance. If the person is unwilling to improve their situation after five years it is not the people of the United States problem.

Exclusions
1. Legally Disabled
2. Mentally impared
3. Retirees which receive social security
