Reduce Government Spending by Reducing Operating Costs

Created by R.P. on December 27, 2012

In an effort to reduce Governement Spending, I petition the US Government to convert to a Four Day 40 Hour Work week for all Federal Facilities. By closing one day a week, operation costs will be reduced by approximately 20%. It is proposed that we should also see reduced emissions, as there will be less commute, and a reduction in fuel consumption. The current schedule allowing "regular days off" (RDO's) creates a confusing business atmosphere as some employees are off on Monday's, other Friday's.
