Reduce Government spending by reforming Congressional pay and pensions.

Created by M.P. on January 20, 2013

The fact exists that many congressmen in service in the US House and Senate wish to lower spending in order to decrease the national debt. However, they are unwilling to address their own out of control salaries and pensions.
We The People Request that the Presidency of the United States take action in reducing the national debt through cutting the congressional budget.
This is the right thing to do. Congress Continues to hold Social Security and Medicare hostage as bargaining chips to get what they want. This has to stop.It is time that Congress be held accountable financially. Warren Buffet has laid out a few steps that make sense. We urge the Presidency to run the numbers. Congressional pay reform would make a dent in the deficit. Buffet said this on a CNBC interview July 7, 2011.
