Supercomputers are becoming advanced enough that it will become cost effective to have a website available 24/7 free to the public to be their doctor. The system would start with simple to diagnose things like recommending OTC medicines for common colds, or generating electronic prescriptions for more severe things like flu or pneumonia. Eventually the system would be upgraded to handle more complex things and would integrate data from a new generation of cell phones with new sensors such as body temp, blood oxygen, heart rate, blood pressure, a phone camera app for monitoring eye dilation, food data including used restaurants and recent home food by lot number, radiation detectors, etc. Would allow real time monitoring of outbreaks and minimize the ER being a disease vector.
