I believe the federal government should reduce the interest rates for federal direct student loans both new and existing to zero percent interest. I believe this will provide financial relief to struggling Americans with student loan debt. By reducing the interest rates, Americans will be able to use the additional income to start families, buy a home, and invest money in our sections of the economy.
