The legal age for buying and consuming alcohol should be 18. If an your considered an adult at 18 and can give your life for this country then you should be able to drink. Any argument against that is silly and unnecessary. Remove the forbidden fruit taboo from alcohol and give young adults they're full freedom to choose.
