Reduce the Marginal Tax Rate by Two Percent for Incomes Under $250K

We request that the White House and President Obama negotiate with Speaker John Boehner and Senator Mitch McConnell along with the rest of the Republican Congressmen and Senators to cut the marginal tax rate by 2 % for incomes below $250K. Such a reduction in marginal tax rate will help put more money in the hands of the people who need it most, and it will keep the economy growing. The tax cut will be consistent with the governing philosophy of President Obama, the Democrats and the Republicans. President Obama and the Democrats always state that they want the middle class to have a fair share. And the Republicans lately have been eagerly looking for ways to demonstrate that they too care for the middle class. This will be their chance to do so employing their favorite method: tax cuts.
