Reduce the money invested in the military and use it instead to improve the quality of material taught in schools.

Created by K.H. on February 23, 2014

Our military budget is completely out of proportion compared to the rest of our economy. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the amount of money we put into educating the nation's children is vastly disproportionately small compared to everything else we as a country invest in, nationally and internationally, and it shows in our academic performance levels when stacked against the rest of the world. Logically, we should reduce the amount of money we invest in the military, which is already the best in the world, and divert it to making a worthwhile investment in the future of our nation by spending money on things like after-school tutoring centers, up-to-date subject information, and teacher training to increase the quality of the public school's learning environment.
