As I write this petition on November 15, 2013 there are currently 317,072,384 people and growing in the United States. The national debt is now at $17,154,190,271,936.56. I'm suggesting a 1 time OPTIONAL tax of $20.00 or more to be funded directly into a national debt fund. It is time as Americans to step up and take matters into our own hands, instead of waiting for our elected officials to sit around and do nothing.
