Reduce or eliminate (in favor of treatment) sentencing for child pornography possession- the punishment doesnt fit crime

Created by A.A. on July 21, 2014

In regards to sentencing for child pornography possession, it is clear that the hysteria surrounding the current guidelines has made it so the punishment doesn't fit crime.

The whole concept of re-victimization remains a complete stupidity- as clearly we don't punish those who view pictures of other crime scenes as we do this one. And for good reason: the perpetrator is the criminal and any bystanders PRESENT at the scene while it is occurring, not those viewing photos of it afterwards.
