Our economy, whether we wish to accept the fact or not, is in a precarious situation. With our total national debt climbing over $17.6 trillion, we the citizens of the United States of America must take action in order to secure our economy and bring about a resurrection of our nation.
Essentially, our government is spending more money than what it is making, primarily on imports. This month we spent $239.8 billion on imports and generated $195.5 billion in revenue, meaning that we are spending $44.3 billion dollars more than we are making; this simply cannot happen.
Therefore, we hereby sign this petition in order to restore our economy, to reduce and reverse our debt, and to once again bring forth a prosperous nation so that all generations to come may also prosper.
