this petition is a request to help reduce the dept in this country so that our children do not have to be burdened, we can have the resources to collect our social security and be sure to retire a little more stress free. Right now with the way the debt is going we will be working til we die, their will not be retirement w/ social security and our children and our children's children will pay and so on. What I propose is every year at tax time when filing , their be an option to help reduce the national debt. If every american that files donated $1 to the debt we could pay off this hanging debt and grow our economic resources once again. I think in addition to the $ 1 donation , their should be an area left blank if you wanted to donate more.
