Reduce the pay of all federally elected office holders to the rate of minimum wage based on a fourty hour week.

In order to bring about a fair and balaced budget plan Congress should have a better idea of what they wish to inflict on We the People.
As the servenents of the American people there is no reason that the American people should feel the full brunt of the shortsightedness of the past congress that have spent us into this hole.
I resolve that the servents of we the people should also make the frist sacrifices By, reducing their pay to equal minimum wage at fourty hours per week, and no more. Also, that the gold plated health insurance be done away with.
That these changes should remain in effect untill a balanced budget is passed with enought savings to have the pay reinstated.
