Reduce Pay Of All Members Of The Executive And Legislative Branches Of The Federal Government

Created by G.W. on December 29, 2012

Proposal for the pay rates of all elected officials of the executive and legislative branches of the United States Federal Government to have their pay reduced and set at the national average household income. This rate should be readjusted annually based on the previous years figures. If the economy improves, then their pay will improve. If the economy worsens, their pay will decrease. America is in a dire state of affairs economically and our elected officials have done nothing to improve the quality of life in this country. The policies that affect average Americans do not effect the people who write these policies. It is unacceptable that they be rewarded with pay raises for doing nothing more than running our country into debt while driving middle class Americans into poverty
