We the undersigned strongly advocate an immediate 50% reduction in the salary of all elected officials. All expense accounts for those members should be frozen and a complete audit of those accounts should then be done, then disclosed to the public.
All food, beverages, transportation and all other “perks” that the average American worker does not receive while working should not be supplied free of charge to any government employee.
No increase in salary for any elected official will be granted until a balanced budget is passed and only then with a national vote authorizing any such raise or change in perks or benefits.
