Reduce pay to government officials, as they are civil servants, on a scale similar to the military.

As citizens of the United States, we demand the pay to active and retired members of the legislative and executive branches of government be reduced to a level that is acceptable to civil servant. The salary recieved by many is in the six figure dollar range that they recieve for life. This is tax-payer money meant to provide a means of income for our representatives, our agents if you will, and should not be a means to create an entitled class of wealthy. A pay scale similar to other public servants, such as military or fire-fighters, will be accetable.
