reduce the pay of members of Congress, if they fail to pass at least 50% of legislation in a given session.

Created by K.B. on August 01, 2014

August 1, 2014 -- the most ineffective Congress in history gets to take a 5 week, PAID, summer vacation. They passed ZERO bills addressing our infrastructure crisis, immigration reform, or climate change. So why should they get paid for not doing their jobs? They SHOULD NOT.

Congressional members should have their salaries docked 25% if they fail to pass at least half of legislation proposed. They should not be free to reap the perks of a good, GOVERNMENT job, a six-figure salary, & generous vacation/health care for not doing their job.

If it were you or I, we'd be fired. Cut Congress' pay for failing to attend to the people's business.
