Reduce the pay rate of members of congress, senators, and the president/ whitehouse staff to Federal Minimum Wage

Members of Congress, the Senate, House, White house employees including the president, etc. make exorbinant amounts of money, and instead of reducng their own salaries they propose cuts to the military, healthcare, and education. The economy is forcing us to consider new ways to save money, and instead of tax increases or other crippling cuts to the economy we should pay the "public servants" exactly the minimum that is required to survive, as millions of hard working americans are paid currently. These government employees are a huge drain on the economy in and of themselves, yet they refuse to sacrifice any of their own wealth in exchange for a boost to the economy. The time has come to stop taking and start giving back to your country, Washington!
