Psychedelics have long been mislabeled as dangerous and without any possible use in medical fields.
'Magic Mushrooms' and LSD both have no addictive qualities, are near impossible to overdose on, and have been proven to help with the curing of PTSD and other anxiety driven issues.
While I'm not saying that trafficking or public intoxication laws should change, I believe that possession in low quantities and use in the privacy of one's home (especially regarding "soft drugs") should not be an issue the federal government targets. Like marijuana most safe psychedelics have been made illegal based on public fear, misinformation and the possible 'degeneration' of American morals. However, I believe it is time to end the craze that is the War on Drugs and start better allocating our resources
