Our government was founded on the belief that our lives are our own. Over the centuries, our federal government has become more powerful than the founding fathers intended. If the federal government were to minimize its authority, then more jobs could be created through free enterprise and more people would enjoy their rights rather than fearing they would be taken by an illegitimate regime.
