Reduce the price of gas at the pump by ending the oppressive policies of the EPA and allowing new refineries to open.

Created by D.M. on December 23, 2012

The prices we've been paying for gasoline and diesel in recent years are ridiculous and unnecessary. Many Americans can barely afford to drive to work, let alone take a road trip or go see loved ones for the holidays. Furthermore, this continues to be a major drag on any economic recovery, because fuel prices affect nearly every aspect of industry. A big part of the problem is the bottleneck between turning crude oil into fuel due to the lack of refinery capacity in our country. Refinery capacity is less than it was in 1982, and not a single refinery has opened since before then. The huge cost of opening a new refinery is largely due to unreasonable restrictions imposed by the EPA. Put a stop to this nonsense already!
