We want to reduce senators and representatives in Puerto Rico. We concluded to that statement, because Puerto Rico's area is 9,104 km² and Texas' area is 696,241 km². In conclusion, Texas is approximately 76 times larger than Puerto Rico. According to this website http://senado.pr.gov/senadores/Pages/senadores.aspx Puerto Rico has 27 Senators and to this website http://www.senate.state.tx.us/75r/senate/members.htm Texas has 31 Senators. If Texas would have the same senators in proportion to Puerto Rico approximately 2,356 senators would be over the necesary. We think Puerto Rico, our country too many people in the goverment. Less senadors can help to optimize the costs in the goverment. The cleaning begins at home.
