Whereas the Federal Government spends $85 billion dollars a month on Quantitative Easing;
Whereas sequestration reduced spending by $85 billion for one year;
Whereas the President’s 2013-14 budget projects deficits and interest on the debt to exceed $500 billion dollars a year through fiscal year 2016, and projects the Federal Debt to exceed $20 trillion by Fiscal Year 2016;
Whereas the Budget Control Act of 2011 is the law of the land;
Whereas a budget has not been adopted since April 29, 2009;
Whereas sequestration will take place again without an adopted budget;
We request that either a budget be adopted or that Quantitative Easing be reduced by $170 billion this fiscal year (2013-14) and reduced by least $85 billion a year during subsequent years.
