The government currently sets aside a certain percentage of small business contracts based upon race and heritage. Someone from India, Asia or another country comes to the US and has a better chance of winning a federal contract under the 8a program based upon the color of their skin. This is wrong - the government shouldn't pick winners or losers by race.
Start by allowing only 2nd or 3rd generation Americans to be a part of these programs. The SBA already can't keep up with the backlog of applicants - the number needs to be reduced.
Finally, I STRONGLY support prosecution for discrimination. The ONLY factor for work and business is someone's ability to do the job. Discrimination for any other factor is disgusting and should be prosecuted in accordance with current law.
