Politicians are the employees of the people. If any civilian has to work from 251 days to 350 days a year for more than 8 hours a day each day. Why on earth we are paying an annual salary of $174,000 to Members of Congress when they are only working for about 106 days with less than 8 hours in a day?
Members of Congress actually working for this country, for the people, by the people should work not less than 260 a year, and each day with a minimum of 8 hours.
If Members of Congress cannot produce a minimum amount of bills to improve the lives of the people (like Job Bills, Minimum Wages, etc.), should suffer a deduction of their salary for every month that they cannot agree, for every filibuster, or unwilling or lack of prosecutions against special interest groups, wall street, etc.
